This course is ideal for first aiders in a smaller workplace that present fewer health and safety risks, where an appointed person is required to take charge in the event of an illness or accident if a First Aider at Work is absent. This course now includes the Automated Defibrillation Module, which is highlighted on the certificate

It is a legal requirement for all employers to have in place a sufficient number of qualified first aiders as determined by their work place risk assessment.

Who should attend?

Nominated workplace appointed persons or for people who will be supporting the first aiders

Learning Outcome

This course gives the basic life saving knowledge and confidence to deal with a first aid emergency situation, especially in the workplace.

The course candidates will receive a certificate, which is valid for three years.
